Installation Process
At RackISP we believe that you as a customer should be in full controll of your own dedicated server. The order and installation process are fully automated so you can setup your server just the way you like it.
Control Panel
You can install additional software packages, select an available operating system and you have full access to the KVM Switch and APC Reboot Switch. You can use Plesk, Cpanel or any other Control Panel you wish but you can also try use our Control Panel “Syncer”.
IP/Mac Binding
We use advanced IP/Mac binding to keep your ip space secure. This means that your own ip space can’t be used by any other customer in our network. This could happen if a customer were to make a misstake in configuring the server network interfaces.
Ipmi
Ipmi stands for “Intelligent Platform Management Interface”. IPMI operates independently of the operating system and allows administrators to manage a system remotely even in the absence of an operating system or the system management software, or even if the monitored system is powered off, but connected to a power source.
APC Remote Reboot
In worst case scenarios you can allways rely on our Remote Reboot Switches from APC. We have never had any issues regarding these switches. For more information please check the APC PDU page
KVM
In some cases it can be a relief to know that you can use a tool that practically lets you configure your server just as if you were with us in the datacenter. KVM stands for “Keyboard Visual Display Unit, Mouse”.
UPS
We have setup several UPS devices that filter out any spikes in the power supply. Our UPS devices also make sure that there is enough time available for the power generators to kick in.
Network
High quality redundant network with direct connections to AMS-IX, NL-IX and NDIX. High quality transit partners and 100% network uptime in the past 4 years.
